Patricia is a licensed hydrogeologist with the Department of Ecology, Shoreland and Environmental Assistance Program where she provides technical and scientific assistance on hydrologic and geomorphic issues related to shoreline, floodplain, watershed planning, and wetland management. Previously she worked as a Principal Scientist for the Pacific Watershed Institute, a NGO dedicated to integrating ecosystem science with management in aquatic systems where she designed and implemented watershed assessments and implemented, designed, and monitored salmon restoration projects. She also conducted research in groundwater-surface water interactions in forested wetlands and on the effects of wildfire on river geomorphology. She has 30 years field and modeling experience in watershed, river and wetland hydrology and geomorphology. Patricia has a PhD in hydrology from University of Washington and a Masters in Physical Geography from University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
