Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington: Site Plan Review for Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permittees

This one-day class is geared toward staff from local governments who use the 2005 Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington to regulate drainage and stormwater in proposed development and redevelopment projects. You will learn how to use the stormwater manual to review a stormwater site plan for consistency  with minimum requirements such as source control, on-site management, treatment and flow control. You will also hear about case studies that explain the details associated with reviewing a stormwater site plan. In addition, the class will cover an overview of the relevant Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit requirements and tips about how to review a Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan.   (6 CM credits)

Note: This class does not cover how to use the Western Washington Hydrologic Model (WWHM) or related models. Familiarity with hydrologic model outputs is recommended.

    From I-405: Take Exit 12 for SE 8th Street Travel west on Southeast Eighth Street Take immediate left onto 118th Avenue Southeast, heading south Travel about a half mile Just before the first MSEEC sign (in light blue), take the first right into the parking lot. Walk the path to the front of the buildings. From I-90 Take Exit 9 for Bellevue Way. Continue for one mile. Veer right onto 112th Avenue Southeast. Take a right onto Southeast Eighth Street. Take a right onto 118th Avenue Southeast. Travel about a half mile. Just before the first MSEEC sign (in light blue), take the first right into the parking lot. Walk the path to the front of the buildings.
