The training will cover the fundamentals of  how to plan for climate change, how to conduct a vulnerability assessment, how current state regulations address climate change, and  how other governments are taking on the challenge of preparing for climate change. You will also become familiar with key data sources and learn specific strategies for engaging stakeholders in climate change preparedness.  Finally, the training will include several exercises designed to help you consider possible climate vulnerabilities and adaptation strategies in your community.
